About the session
As part of our closing session for this years' conference, we are joined by our second keynote speaker and Recovery Champion Dr Ed Day who will also be addressing the issue of Stigma.
Following his presentation, Ed will be joined by our second expert panel including; Karen Biggs - Chief Executive of Phoenix Futures, Jon Shorrock - Programme Manager Drug & Alcohol Improvement Support Team [DAIST], Public Health England, Dr Derrett Watts - Consultant Psychiatrist for Substance Misuse in North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust (NSCHT) and Professor Sarah Galvani - Professor of Substance Use and Social Research in the Department of Sociology at Manchester Met for a Q&A panel session. Finally, NHS APA Chair, Danny Hames, will be delivering his closing remarks for the day.
