Congratulations to Hep C U Later, an NHS APA Initiative, for winning the HSJ award for the Best Healthcare Analytics Project at the HSJ Awards!
The Hep C U Later team, alongside the Drug Treatment Providers Forum, NHS England and Gilead Sciences are proud to have won the HSJ Partnership Award for the Best Health Care Analytics Project for the NHS at the HSJ Awards on 23rd March 2023.
About Hep C U Later
NHS APA's Hep C U Later programme is a bold and ambitious effort to eliminate Hepatitis C within its members' community services. Gilead and NHS APA's programme has been developed to drive widespread implementation of established best practice pathways across all NHS APA members' services.
The project also aims to support NHS service provider engagement with Operational Delivery Networks (ODNs) in order to treat and cure over 6,000 additional patients and create effective elimination in member services.
This includes using streamlined routes into treatment alongside award-winning peer engagement projects which, in some localities, have led to the micro-elimination of Hepatitis C in service caseloads.
The HSJ Awards
The HSJ Awards celebrate all of the efforts and achievements of different sections and partnerships of the NHS and include categories such as “Clinical Leader of The Year”, “Mental Health Innovation of The Year” and many more, all of which promote the advancement of the NHS’s results and help the NHS to keep striving for improvement.
We look forward to seeing the continued success of Hep C U Later, in its efforts to eliminate HCV, and the NHS APA congratulates them on this fantastic achievement. We also want to thank all of Hep C U Later's supporters and partners, as without their support, this would not have been possible.
